The Radio Flyer is a hit. The girl loves to ride her bike. It seems that we're often loading it up in the car and heading to a local trail so that she can ride wild & free...which really isn't possible in our neighborhood. It benefits us too though, since we walk along side her as she pedals to her heart's content. Karl seems to think she's almost ready for a small bike with training wheels, while I'm pretty ok with the thought of her hanging on her trike for a bit. =o)
We've also dusted our bikes off that have been sitting in the garage for 8 years now since we moved up here. They're tuned up and I've been on a few rides myself, while pulling 35lbs of toddler in our new spiffy bike trailer. Much easier said than done. She is HEAVY! Aunt Becca came to visit a few weeks back and we did an 8.5 mile ride, but we had to keep switching off on the hauling. I am weak!
It's nice to be out and enjoying the weather before it gets painstakingly hot. We've got a few weeks before that happens. So we're trying to soak up as much of it while we can!

I'm impressed! I don't know many 2 year olds who can peddle. (Then again, Addie's taller than the 2 year olds in my life, so there's that...)
I'd hold off on the bike with training wheels, at least until Christmas, if not until her third birthday.
We'll have to get together to ride again soon! Maybe this weekend or next?
