Today, we put Addison in her fancy-schamcy Exersaucer that Great Grandma Hower (aka Gigi) got for her. She had a blast, but I think she'll like it even more once she can better reach the toys.

Jumping Monkey

We introduced Addison to the Jumperoo last week and she LOVED it! I took video of it, but for some reason it turned out really grainy when I uploaded it.

Here it is, but I'm trying to find another site to host it on where it will be clearer.

Outdoor Living

For the past few weeks, Karl has been busy working hard on getting the backyard ready for some summer lounging.

A week ago he and a few friends poured a new cement patio, put up a new gazebo, and for my birthday he bought me a patio set.

I can't wait to spend many summer nights hanging out in our new spot! You did such a great job honey!

I Survived!

I survived my first day back at work! I'd been dreading this day, but all in all it wasn't that bad!

I woke up at 6:15am, got myself around, woke Addie up at 7, fed & changed her and we were out the door by 7:30am! Karl accompanied me on the first drop off, and there were plenty of tears shed by me when it was time to say goodbye.

I broke down and called to check in on her at 10am, and was told that she was doing great. What else were they going to tell me?! lol I managed to stay pretty busy at work, so I didn't have much time to dwell on it.

Karl was busy at home this morning pouring our new concrete patio, but was going to be done by Noon and Addie would be able to be picked up then. He was running a bit behind, so I got to pick her up on my lunch hour. I was so excited to see her, but she was sleeping when I got there.

Rose, our daycare provider, was very pleased with how well behaved Addison was. She loved playtime outside and the attention that she got from all of the little girls there.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, much to my surprise. I think this is going to work out well for us!

Addison has outgrown her original bathtub (she's too long for it), and we've super-sized to a bigger tub. Bath time has become a fun evening activity (not that she hated her baths before) and we clearly have a water baby on our hands! I can't wait until she can sit up and use the regular tub!

An afternoon in Pasadena

Today Karl's cousin, Elette, graduated from CalTech in Pasadena. She's It was a beautiful day and was spent in good company. Here's a few pics, but unfortunately I didn't get any of the Graduate!

Our Little Sitter

Addison has been really trying her hardest to sit up lately, and when you hold her...she must be facing away from you & in and upright position.

I thought now was the perfect time to bust out her Bumbo Seat and see how she liked it. Well, she loves it! She also has a favorite toy, her Lota Linki Clip Together Teether/Toy.
