Saturday at Riverwalk Park

This afternoon we decided to head over to the newest park in Bakersfield, and boy was it booming! We also met up with our friend Candice & her son, William. The kids had a great time, and Addison was keeping her Daddy on his toes! The girl is on the move!

The Sickly One

Last night Addison started running a 101* fever, by morning time it was 102.5*. We went to the Dr and it turns out that our poor love bug has an ear infection & a cold. She's been pretty miserable and has been doing a lot of sleeping. Hopefully she'll be able to kick it soon and be back to her spunky-self!

Houston, we have WALKER!

It's been in the works now for a while, but Addison has finally mastered the art of walking! Watch out world 'cuz here she comes!

11 months

Wow! I can't believe that we are a month away from Addie's 1st Birthday! Where did time go?!
She's weighing in at 26lbs 6oz; and measuring 31 1/2" tall! We've got a big girl on our hands, that's for sure!

As of Monday, she's really started walking. We are taking lots & lots of steps on our own! I know it'll be just a blink in time before she's off and running like a champ. It's amazing how a little helpless baby can turn into a little person in just a matter of months!

Mac + Cheese = Love

Addison has had her first experience with Easy Mac, and she LOVED it! This post is a little "picture heavy," but I couldn't stop snapping away because her expressions were priceless!

Swinging

After we went to breakfast and ran some errands, we stopped by the park. Addison has never officially been to the park, so we weren't sure what to expect. We should have known better, the baby that practically LIVED in her infant swing LOVED the big girl swings at the park! It appears as though a visit to the park will be worked into our regular weekend happenings...the giggling is just too infectious! (Excuse the picture over-load)

Pankcakes

We got up early this morning and Daddy decided we should go out to breakfast. We went to IHOP, but the wait was quite long. We ran into some friends of ours and they said that Denny's Diner in the next shopping center over had no wait! We jumped in the car and headed over. Addison had her first taste of Pancakes. She loved them, but she did NOT like the pieces that Daddy dipped in syrup.
