{baby charlie - update!}

I should've done this a few days ago, but I forgot!

Baby Charlie is continuing to thrive in the NICU! He is now completely IV-free and breathing room air. He has a little feeding tube, but hopefully that will be the next item to go as he progresses.

His Mama got released from the hospital late last week and has been staying at the nearby Ronald McDonald House since they live about 2 hours away from the hospital.

Charlie got his first bath last night. He's such a strong little fighter. He still has a long road ahead, but it looks as though he's out to beat the odds! Please continue to keep him in your thoughts/prayers.

I attempted Project 365 last year, but failed miserably. I lasted 3 days.

I have started up again this year and I'm on a roll.

We got Addie a camera for Christmas. She is always wanting to play with mine, but that is strictly off limits! :) I finally got around to offloading her pictures, and we got a good chuckle out of what she'd photographed.

It's pretty much what we expected, but I think it will be fun to dump her camera from time to time and see what she's been up to! :)

On New Year's Day, our dear friends Chris & Abby welcomed their sweet little guy, Charles Robert.

Charlie is 9 weeks early. He weighed in at 2lbs 7oz. Please keep him and his parents (especially his Mama - she's had some medical issues of her own) in your thoughts or prayers. They have a long road ahead.
