On Saturday during our adventure through our local WalMart, Mission: Find-a-Pool, we discovered that they had all of their summer stuff on clearance.

Karl found and fell in love with this Hamilton Beach Ice Shaver. This machine makes slushies (yes, slushies) and Snow Cones. It was on clearance for $20, so I caved in and let him buy it. We also stocked up on every flavor of syrup for the low price of $1.50/bottle. Score!

Needless to say, this has been Karl's BFF. He's been chugging down the Watermelon-Cherry slushies on a nightly basis.

Oh well, what else are we supposed to do when it's 108* outside?! Yeah, I said 108*. It was 112* when I left work for the day, and I even have photographic evidence:

Yesterday we spent the day hanging out at Auntie Anaya's house and invading her pool. Addison sported her first bikini. I could hardly contain myself...look at those thighs! Those rolls are slowly disappearing and it's making me sad!
