We are forming a March for Babies Family Team to help the March of Dimes work towards the day when all babies are born healthy. We are writing today to ask you to jin us!
There’s a place for everyone at March for Babies! Family Teams are made up of friends and family who want to honor babies – babies born prematurely or with a birth defect; babies who didn’t survive, or healthy, full-term babies. Premature birth touches half a million babies and their families every year. Babies born too soon are more likely to die or have disabilities. Birth defects pose another serious threat – taking the lives of many babies and cause lifelong disabilities for thousands more. So it’s important for us to help the March of Dimes help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
We are doing just that by participating in March for Babies as a Family Team. No one is working harder than the March of Dimes to understand the causes of prematurity and birth defects.
Won’t you join our Family Team at this wonderful event? Call me for further details, or go to marchforbabies.org and register online. Our team name is Haute Mamas. If you can’t join us, please consider sponsoring our team with your donation. Just log on to my personal web page , or click on the banner on the right! Every dollar makes a difference!
One day all babies will be born healthy. But we’ll have to walk to get there! Thank you for your help.
Thanks for your support!

10 Months
Happy 10 Months to our beautiful baby girl! I know I've been bad about updating on the happenings, and I'm trying to get back on top of it!
Some of our latest happenings are:
- She has taken steps on her own (2-3 at a time), so walking is on the horizon
- She can go from sitting to standing on her own
- She loves to eat! Some of our favorite things are Cheerios and Popcorn!
- Says Mama & Dada, but never on que
- Learning to wave, but again it's never on que
- She is all over the place wether it be crawling or crusing
- She is fascinated by our cat, who is very anti-social
- She LOVES her doggies, Dallas & Chloe, who have become her personal abuse victims
- Bathtime is pretty much the best thing ever
Here are some pictures of our little Miss, who can't sit still! I miss the days where she'd just sit there and let me do my thing! =o)

I got a new camera for Christmas (Canon SX10IS), so here are some random pictures that I have taken. I'm still trying to figure it all out, but so far I am loving it!

Christmas - Part 5
Okay, so I lied! There's 5 parts to this post. We were very lucky to bring both of our families together (minus a sister & family) for Christmas dinner. Addison had a blast playing with her new toys and trying out some Chocolate Cake (thanks Grammy).

After spending a bit of time at my parents' house, we headed over to my Grandma & Grandpa Hower's house (aka Gigi & Papa).

Christmas - Part 3
Okay, sorry for the delay in posting. I've been a little pre-occupied.
After Christmas Breakfast with Karl's family, we went over to my parents' house for presents. Addison got some neat things that she loves playing with! She also loved the bows on the presents!

Christmas - Part 1
I've decided the easiest way to handle this post is in parts since we basically had 4 Christmas Celebrations.
We had our family Christmas on the night of the 23rd since we were travelling to our hometown on Christmas Eve afternoon, and really didn't think it was a good idea to haul all of our presents for Addison out there and back.
So, I put her in her PJs, lit a fire and away it all went! She pretty much got the hang of the whole ripping the paper thing, but would get anxious when you didn't open her toy up for her immediately. It's sounding like she's taking after her Mama! =o)

First Visit with Santa
Last night we look a leap and decided to attempt at a visit to see the Man with the Bag! We were afraid of the meltdown that might have been on the horizon, but were pleasantly suprised that she was her happy self. When she first sat on Santa's lap, of course the signature thumb-sucking occured. Shortly after we were all smiles! Yay!

Burrrr!
This weekend the temperatures here finally dropped! It's nice that the feel of Winter is starting to show up! Our forecast is even calling for a possibility of snow tomorrow! It hasn't snowed here in about 8 years or so....or so I'm told. It happened before we moved out here. I know the chances are slim, but I'd be really neat if it did happen!
Anyway, Addison sported a new hat this weekend and everyone just thought it was the cutest thing, so I though I'd share. Excuse the quality, it was taken with my camera on my phone.
............................................
UPDATE - I actually took pictures with my real camera! So so cute!
