{catchin' up}

It's been a long while since I've updated, so here we go....

The biggest change as of late has been that Addie started attending a new preschool last month. We just felt she wasn't getting all that she needed from our last school, so we made the hard decision to make a move. I'm so glad that we did! She is learning so much and has really flourished in the past month. On the other hand, she really misses some of her teachers and friends so I'm trying to connect with them so we can still see them.

Ready for her Teddy Bear Picnic Field Trip to the Park

We spent Labor Day weekend home improvement-ing. It's been quite a few years since we've really done anything and it's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do for a place. I'll have to take some pictures to share. Our home was purchased as a major fixer-upper, so we spent a good chunk of time bringing it out of the 70's pre-kidlet, but it's been a few years and needed a little love.

Picture Day @ Preschool

Addison is now dancing 2 days a week. She loved it so much this past Spring that we decided to immerse her a little more. She started dancing days a week during the Summer and has really improved her skills. She's even performing at the county Fair this weekend!

We try hard to keep her active and into something at all times. Spring will be here before we know it and she'll be old enough this year to play Soccer or Softball. I've left that decision up to her Daddy. She's also really into art & "reading" these days and we've since made her a little area that's all her own so that she can create to her little heart's content (more on that soon).
