{catching up}

Illness has hit our household like a ton of bricks as of late. I battled Tonsillitis last week, now Karl has something very similar to pneumonia and Addison has had a cold that just won't quit for the past few weeks.

The plan this weekend is to chill out at home, get things cleaned up and in order. My house is a wreck, laundry's piled high and the cupboards & fridge are looking scarce. This is definitely not the weekend to go near a grocery store, but I have no choice. :)

Addison starts her soccer class tomorrow evening, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how she does with that! Have no fear...I'm bringing the camera! LOL Hopefully I'll be able to get some of those up this weekend.

Karl & I have really stepped up our dieting & exercising efforts since the beginning of the year and we're seeing great results. He's been hitting the gym every morning at 5am, and I've recently discovered Spinning. I love it! It's such a great workout!

I've also subscribed to a meal planning service that has been a great help to us! E-Mealz only costs $1.25/week, and they do everything for you! I get to print out an awesome menu each week that is complete with instructions for preparing and a shopping list. It makes dinner time in our house so much easier and cuts our grocery bill down a ton because we're only buying what we need. I highly recommend checking it out if you're interested. There are several different plans that they offer that should work for everyone!
