Last night was met with much anticipation (mostly by me). Yo Gabba Gabba came to our city for an amazing live show!
We managed to keep it a secret from their biggest fan and she didn't quite know what to think once the show got started. It was like she was in shock...utter disbelief. It was way cool to see her light up, take it all in and sing along to her favorite songs from her favorite show!

We had amazing seats just a mere 5 rows back from the stage, right smack dab in the center. The fine folks over at Revolution Foods were a sponsor (we're big fans of their products) and Addie enjoyed the free samples we snagged.

The Guests of Special Music Friend's Show segment was Ozomatli. They were awesome! They played their song La Gallina.

They then did a balloon segment that was beyond adorable. They sang The Balloon Song and even did a spectacular balloon drop in the entire theatre!

During the little intermission, you could text a shout out to show up on the screen, and being the geek that I am...I jumped on it and it actually made it up...and I got a photographic evidence! :)

The Dancey Dance segment was up next. The special guest was Miles "Baby Boogaloo" Brown, which coincidentally happens to be one of Karl's high school friends' son. You may recognize him from America's Got Talent as part of the Future Funk group.

After some more singing & dancing it was time for Biz's Beat of the Day, staring none other that Mr. Biz Markie himself! It was hard fighting the urge to sing "Just a Friend."

Then it was time for the Party in My Tummy segment, which was totally adorable!

It was time to say goodbye after all of the fun, but Addie did much better than I had feared. I anticipated tears and lots of "want more Gabba" requests. There was none. She was very excited about having seen what she just did and was amped up. Getting her to bed was a task, but then again when is it not?!

All in all, taking her to her first concert was worth every penny!
Oh and I finally got my hands on a pair of the coveted Foofa Yo Gabba Gabba Vans! She loves them!
